NoDa The Arts District – Charlotte NC

NoDa, or North Davidson, is Charlotte’s Arts District.  Located just one mile North of Uptown, NoDa is a major hub for entertainment and the arts in Charlotte. The hip and progressive vibe of NoDa drives residents and visitors alike to the community.

Art galleries, live music venues, and restaurants are the heart and soul of NoDa. The district’s art galleries host bimonthly gallery crawls with free admission for patrons to stroll the neighborhood’s galleries, vendors, and shops. Several of Charlotte’s most beloved eateries call NoDa their home, including Amelie’s French Bakery, Boudreaux’s Louisiana Kitchen, and Cabo Fish Taco.

Music lovers can experience NoDa’s eclectic venues such as the Chop Shop music hall and the Evening Muse Café, which features live music as well as an art gallery. Other cultural hotspots in NoDa include the Neighborhood Theatre and the Carolina Actors Studio Theater.

Naturally, the homes in NoDa are as diverse as the community itself. Historic millhouses are common, with fixer-uppers starting in the $100s and beautifully renovated 1920s-style craftsman bungalows up to the $300s. In recent years, multifamily construction has grown in NoDa – bringing modern condos and lofts into the mix starting in the mid-$100s.
